„Protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding in Europe: a blueprint for action“
Im Juni 2004 verabschiedeten 28 EU-Staaten in Dublin einen EU-Aktionsplan „Protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding in Europe: a blueprint for action“. Auch Deutschland unterzeichnete den sogenannten „Blueprint“, der als europäischer Standard die Eckpfeiler einer nachhaltigen Stillförderungspolitik beschreibt. Die WHO/UNICEF-Initiative „Babyfreundliches Krankenhaus“ wird allen EU-Staaten zur Umsetzung empfohlen.
